6th Circuit Panel Affirms Defense Summary Judgment For North Carolina Paper Mill

CINCINNATI - A unanimous Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on July 9 affirmed no-evidence summary judgment against some 300 Tennessee property owners who allege a nuisance claim against a North Carolina paper mill owner for allegedly contaminating the Pigeon River (Beth Freeman, et al. v. Blue Ridge Paper Products Inc., No. 12-6259, 6th Cir.).
