9th Circuit Panel Finds Disclosures In Loan Documents Were Adequate

SAN FRANCISCO - A Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on July 23 affirmed a ruling awarding summary judgment to Wells Fargo Bank N.A. and GMAC Mortgage LLC, finding that a federal judge did not err in ruling that documents provided the plaintiff when closing on a loan refinancing her home mortgage contained disclosures that satisfied the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) (Estell Davis v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., et al., No. 11-17592, 9th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 14921).
