7th Circuit Vacates Defense Verdict In Defective Table Saw Case

CHICAGO - The Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Aug. 2 overturned a defense verdict in a product liability action, concluding that the defendant's "joint venture" theory argument prejudiced the plaintiff and deprived him of a fair trial (Brandon Stollings v. Ryobi Technologies Inc., No. 12-2984, 7th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 16055).
