Federal Judge Dismisses Insurance Dispute In Favor Of Parallel State Lawsuit

PHOENIX - An Arizona federal judge on Aug. 12 dismissed an insurance company's coverage action regarding damages incurred from repair work in favor of the insured's state court action because the insurance coverage dispute governed by state law is properly adjudicated in the parallel state court proceeding (Westfield Insurance Co. v. Double AA Builders Ltd., No. 13-00012, D. Ariz.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 113386).
