Australian Court Affirms Asbestos Verdict For Estate, Increases Damages For Pain

ADELAIDE, South Australia - An Australian court on Aug. 15 affirmed a $232,704 asbestos-related verdict for an electrician's estate, but found that the trial judge's award for pain and suffering was manifestly inadequate and increased the amount (BHP Billiton Ltd. v.
