Federal Judge Denies Motion For Judgment Against FDIC

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - A federal judge in Indiana on Aug. 21 adopted a federal magistrate judge's recommendation and denied the motion for default judgment on liability against a failed bank and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. in a slip-and-fall suit, finding that the FDIC complied with a discovery order (Lisa Pate, et al. v. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., No. 12-0102, S.D. Ind.).
