Judge: Consumer Failed To File Motions In Debt Collection Suit By Deadline

ST. LOUIS - A federal judge in Missouri on Aug. 21 denied a consumer's motion for leave to file a second amended complaint in a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) lawsuit because the consumer failed to file his motion to amend by the court-mandated deadline (Aaron Rogers v. Medicredit Inc., No. 12-2277, E.D. Mo.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 118509).
