NEW ORLEANS - Simply attaching deposition testimony and other evidence to an opposition to a summary judgment motion does not properly admit the evidence into the record, and absent the evidence plaintiffs lack evidence of exposure to asbestos, a Louisiana appeals panel held in an opinion posted Aug. 27 (John Cook, et al. v Asbestos Corp. LTD, et al., No. 13-CA-9, La. App., 5th Cir.; 2013 La. App. LEXIS 1715).
