8th Circuit: Insurance Claims Are Barred By Applicable Statute Of Limitations

ST. LOUIS - The Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Aug. 29 affirmed that insurers have no duty to defend an insured against underlying claims for environmental cleanup costs associated with an oil refinery site because the insured's claims are barred by the applicable statute of limitations (Land O'Lakes Inc. v. Employers Mutual Liability Insurance Co. of Wisconsin, et al., No. 12-1752, 8th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 18036).
