Tennessee Appeals Panel Rules Award For Defects In Log Home Was Reasonable

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Court of Appeals on Aug. 29 affirmed a $50,000 jury award to the plaintiffs in a construction defects case involving a damaged log home, concluding that the amount awarded "falls far short of the upper limit of the range of reasonableness" (James M. Bowley, et al. v. Richard Lane, et al., No. E2012-00134-COA-R3-CV, Tenn. App.; 2013 Tenn. App. LEXIS 574).
