Study: Suits Against Failed Banks' Officers, Directors Exceed Previous Numbers

BOSTON - The number of Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. lawsuits filed in the second and third quarters of 2013 against directors and officers of failed financial institutions have exceeded the rate of those types of lawsuits filed "compared with any equivalent period in the previous three years," according to a study released by Cornerstone Research on Sept. 16.
