SAN DIEGO - A California appeals panel on Sept. 18 vacated a trial court's entry of an order to show cause regarding a nonparty's refusal to produce documents he claimed were privileged, finding that an order granting a real party in interest's motion to compel was a final, appealable order that precluded the trial court's decision (Todd Macaluso v. Superior Court of San Diego County, No. D063325, Calif. App., 4th Dist.; Div. 1; 2013 Calif. App. LEXIS 742).
