Mississippi Warning Claim For Mirena Survives; All Other Claims Dismissed

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - A Mississippi federal judge on Sept. 25 dismissed nearly all of a plaintiff's claims involving the Mirena intrauterine device except her failure-to-warn claim under the Mississippi Product Liability Act (MPLA) (Britney G. Austin v. Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corporation, et al., No. 5:13-28, S.D. Miss., W. Div.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 137480).
