LANSING, Mich. - A plaintiff's medical expert's testimony that malpractice occurs every time a doctor fails to notice a bowel perforation before closing a patient during surgery lacks any support and is unreliable, a Michigan Court of Appeals panel held Oct. 17 in affirming exclusion of the testimony (Tamara Morrow v. Edilberto Moreno, No. 310764, Mich. App.; 2013 Mich. App. LEXIS 1690).
