6th Circuit Panel Rules Trucker Not Responsible For Fatal Highway Accident

CINCINNATI - The Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Oct. 21 affirmed summary judgment for the defendants in a fatal truck accident action, ruling that the driver "had no duty under Ohio law to look for pedestrians violating his right of way" (Andrea West v. Bradley Hilton, et al., No. 13-3087, 6th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS 21453).
