Federal Circuit Won't Rehear Patent Dispute

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Nov. 5 denied rehearing of a dispute over a hemodialysis machine patent, but its denial resulted in two lengthy dissenting opinions by Circuit Judges Kathleen M. O'Malley and Pauline Newman (Fresenius USA Inc. v. Baxter International Inc., No. 12-1334, Fed. Cir.).
