Georgia Appeals Court Allows Verdict Against Grocery Store To Stand

ATLANTA - The Georgia Court of Appeals on Nov. 12 affirmed a $2,790,000 personal injury verdict awarded to a couple in a slip-and-fall injury action, agreeing that a retailer had sufficient notice of a dangerous condition on its property (The Kroger Co. v. Melanie Schoenhoff, et al., No. A13A1247, Ga. App.; 2013 Ga. App. LEXIS 901).
