Judge Finds Couple Lacks Standing To Challenge Foreclosure

DETROIT - A federal judge in Michigan on Dec. 16 dismissed a couple's lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A., after finding that the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring claims against the lender because they did not file suit until after the six-month redemption period on their home expired (Christopher A. Griffin, et al. v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., No. 13-cv-10002, E.D. Mich.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 175680).
