D.C. Circuit Affirms Denial Of Man's Request For Fees In FOIA Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A panel of the District of Columbia Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Jan. 10 found that a federal judge did not abuse his discretion when ruling that although a man was eligible for attorney fees under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), he was not entitled to them (Vern McKinley v. Federal Housing Finance Agency, No. 12-5267, D.C. Cir.; 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 487).
