Judge: Subrogated Insurer Fails To Sufficiently Assert Manufacturing Defect Claim

DALLAS - A subrogated insurer failed to allege sufficient evidence to raise a genuine dispute of material fact with respect to any of the elements of its manufacturing defect claim against a manufacturer of an allegedly defective component, a Texas federal judge ruled Jan. 17 (The Travelers Lloyds Insurance Co. as real party in interest and subrogee of Mannatech Inc. v. All-Glass Aquarium Co. Inc., No. 12-3635, N.D. Texas; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 7228).
