BALTIMORE - An employed firefighter is entitled to workers' compensation coverage for an accident that occurred while he was traveling from one work-related activity to another work-related activity, the Maryland Court of Appeals said Jan. 28, noting that the employee's travel does not fall within the "coming and going" rule under the Maryland Workers' Compensation Act (Thaddeus Roberts v. Montgomery County, Md., No. 39, Md. App.; 2014 Md. LEXIS 9).
