Mealey's Banking & Finance - Man's Claims Against Loan Servicer Dismissed With Prejudice By Judge

OAKLAND, Calif. - A loan servicer was dismissed with prejudice from a man's lawsuit against his mortgage lender and Experian Information Solutions Inc. on March 21 by a federal judge who found that the man could not pursue claims the defendant violated the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) or Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (Leonel Arostegui v. Bank of America, N.A., et al., No. C 13-6009 PJH, N.D. Calif.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 37792).
