BATON ROUGE, La. - A Louisiana appeals panel on March 24 vacated a $6.7 million award issued to an assignee of a contractor and its insurers' claims for defense costs against a subcontractor's insurer regarding an underlying construction defect case (MAPP Construction LLC and Bituminous Casualty Corp. v. Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co., et al., No. 2013 CW 1074, La. App., 1st Cir.; 2014 La. App. LEXIS 773).
