Mealey's Bankruptcy - Bankrupt Detroit Proposes Modified Pension Plans For Retired Employees

DETROIT - The bankrupt City of Detroit on April 16 filed a declaration in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in which it modified the pension plans for retired city employees and retired members of the police and fire departments (In Re: City of Detroit, No. 13-53846, Chapter 9, E.D. Mich. Bkcy.).
