CINCINNATI - A Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on April 29 reinstated a lawsuit filed by two sisters who are in their 70s alleging that their employer was motivated by age and racial discrimination to select them for layoff during an economic reduction in force (Georgie Brewer, et al. v. New Era, Inc., No. 13-5237, 6th Cir.; 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 8258).
