Mealey's IP/Tech - Federal Circuit Affirms: Claims Properly Rejected As Indefinite

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on May 6 found that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board correctly deemed an inventors applied-for patent claims indefinite and, accordingly, out of compliance with the statutory drafting requirements of 35 U.S. Code Section 112(b) (In re: Thomas G. Packard, No. 13-1204, Fed. Cir.).
