HARTFORD, Conn. - A Connecticut Appellate Court panel on May 6 found that the inclusion of a link to a purportedly defamatory article on a website owned by NBCUniversal Inc. (NBC) did not constitute defamation because the network was protected from liability as an interactive computer service under the Communications Decency Act (CDA) (Mitchell Vazquez v. Teri Buhl, et al., No. AC 35319, Conn. App.; 2014 Conn. App. LEXIS 198).
