GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on May 8 heard oral arguments from the federal government and Catholic organizations over whether the government provided proper notice of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA)'s contraceptive mandate and whether its application substantially burdens religious practices (Michigan Catholic Conference, et al. v.
