CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - A New York federal judge on May 7 granted a renewed motion of class certification filed in a suit by mortgage holders accusing a servicing company of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) violations and ordered submission of the parties' proposed terms of a settlement agreement (Altagracia Diaz, et al. v. Residential Credit Solutions, Inc., No. 12-3781, E.D. N.Y.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 63893).
