GREENBELT, Md. - Concluding that an airline that conducted business only in Alaska did not solicit business from the Maryland-based plaintiffs, a Maryland federal judge on May 28 held that the state could not confer jurisdiction over the airline based on "a single Maryland transaction" (Vijai Rao, et al. v. Era Alaska Airlines, et al., No. 8:12-cv-02534, D. Md.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 72287).
