Mealey's Toxic Tort/Environmental - Federal Judge Dismisses Tenant's Mold-Related Claims Against EPA

PITTSBURGH - After finding numerous deficiencies in a complaint filed by a tenant who alleged that she was exposed to mold and lead-based paint in her apartment, a Pennsylvania federal judge on June 3 granted a motion filed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and others to dismiss the claims against them (Jacquelyn B. N'Jai v. US Environmental Protection Agency, et al., No. 13-1212, W.D. Pa.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 75712).
