JACKSON, Miss. - Sufficient evidence supports the compensatory portion of a jury's asbestos verdict on failure-to-warn claims involving drilling mud, but the trial judge's questioning of the jury requires a new trial on the issue of punitive damages, a divided Mississippi Supreme Court held June 5 (Union Carbide Corp. v.
