LOS ANGELES - A trial judge used an incorrect timing computation regarding the two-year statute of limitations for a motion to amend, a California appeals panel held Jan. 27, reversing the denial of a family's motion for leave to file a second amended complaint under the elder abuse statute against two hospitals (George Fenimore, Jr., et al. v. The Regents of the University of California, et al., B289797, Calif. App., 2nd Dist., Div. 8, 2020 Cal. App. LEXIS 65).
