Mealey's IP/Tech - D.C. Circuit Revives Constitutional Challenge To Online Sex Trafficking Law

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A District of Columbia Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel majority on Jan. 24 found that at least two of the parties that filed a pre-enforcement challenge to a law that cracked down on the support of online sex trafficking have standing under Article III of the U.S. Constitution to pursue their constitutional claims against the government, reversing a trial court's dismissal (Woodhull Freedom Foundation, et al. v. United States, No. 18-5298, D.C. Cir., 2020 U.S. App. LEXIS 2217).
