Mealey's IP/Tech - Defendant Sanctioned For Violating Longstanding Trademark Settlement

DETROIT - A federal judge in Michigan on Feb. 3 found that a trademark infringement defendant's "particularly egregious" violation of a 2006 settlement agreement warrants the imposition of sanctions in the form of $535,854 in disgorged profits (A.B. Cernelle v. Graminex LLC, et al., No. 03-10291, E.D. Mich., 2020 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 17437).
