WASHINGTON, D.C. - A panel of the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Jan. 28 found that an Ohio federal judge erred in denying attorney fees on behalf of a defendant who successfully defended accusations that it violated the terms of a patent settlement (Sauder Manufacturing Company v. J Squared Inc., No. 19-1430, Fed. Cir., 2020 U.S. App. LEXIS 2656).
