Mealey's Labor & Employment - Fund Operator: Question Presented In Petition Not Before Supreme Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In an Oct. 17 opposition brief, the operator of an investment fund accused of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act told the U.S. Supreme Court it should deny certiorari in a dispute over the statutory availability of disgorged profits from a nonfiduciary (John Teets v. Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company, No. 19-382, U.S. Sup.).
