Mealey's Litigation Procedure - 2nd Circuit Affirms In Tax Evasion Case, Says Expert Properly Excluded

NEW YORK - The Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Feb. 4 upheld a Connecticut millionaire insurance agent's conviction and nearly six-year prison sentence for tax evasion after finding that his advocacy of anti-government beliefs is not "presumptive evidence of mental incompetence" (United States v. Terry DiMartino, No. 18-2053, 2nd Cir., 2020 U.S. App. LEXIS 3294).
