WASHINGTON, D.C. - A petition for a writ of certiorari by a company that operates gas wells in Oklahoma asking the U.S. Supreme Court to decide whether district courts must "undertake a rigorous analysis to determine whether" a class "is ascertainable through an administratively feasible method" before granting certification was denied by the U.S. Supreme Court on Jan. 13 (Apache Corporation v. Bigie Lee Rhea, No. 19-503, U.S. Sup.).
