He was also a co-founder of the California Tort Reporterand the Federal Litigator. He has an extensive background in appellate practice, specializing in tort and insurance coverage cases. Prof. Levy is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Chicago School of Law, where he served as an editor on the law review.
