U.S. and U.K. Sign Revised Annex II to FATCA Agreement

The U.S. and U.K. governments recently agreed to replace the Annex II in the parties' September 2012 intergovernmental agreement to implement the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act.
 
The British Embassy sent a note with the proposed new Annex II to the U.S. State Department on June 3. The State Department accepted the proposal in writing on June 7. The text of the exchange of notes was posted June 13 on the website of the U.K. government's official archive.
