WV: Massey Energy to Begin Discussing Benefits Packages for Miners' Survivors

JULIAN, WV - The Charleston Daily Mail reports that Massey Energy will begin discussing benefits packages for survivors of the 29 miners who died in the Upper Big Branch Mine explosion, but it remains to be seen if the company packages will deter multimillion-dollar wrongful death lawsuits that are expected to be filed on behalf of the miners' widows and families.
