Des Plaines, IL (CompNewsNetwork) - The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Symposium titled “Rethink Safety: A New View of Human Error and Workplace Safety,” will take place in San Antonio, TX, November 4-5. The symposium will provide attendees with an innovative view of safety and accident prevention through assessing the element of human error. Though human behavior has previously been explored, understanding human error as it relates to workplace safety is a new way of exploring where errors occur, how to implement new interventions and prevention by design.
The symposium will consist of 14 concurrent and roundtable sessions designed to provide organizations with new tools to improve safety. Attendees will earn 1.4 continuing education units (CEUs) as electives for ASSE’s certificate programs and for certification maintenance.
