5th Circ. Embraces Broad Take On ADA Accommodations

The Fifth Circuit's recent ruling that reasonable accommodations sought under the Americans With Disabilities Act don't necessarily have to help a worker perform the “essential functions” of a job signals that employers around the nation should take a broader view of what they may have to provide under the ADA to avoid litigation, lawyers say.
