Safer Communities - ADAM

On April 5th, 2011, a 12 year-old girl was reported missing from her home in Wisconsin. Law enforcement turned to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and they quickly distributed hundreds of posters of the child within a 15-mile radius of her last known location. Shortly after the poster’s release, the mother received specific information on her daughter’s whereabouts. They were reunited on April 16th.

Day of Caring

On one day every year, we unite as a company to make a tremendous impact for deserving organizations around the globe. As volunteers we help build homes, renovate schools and community centers, package food, support US military troops and provide support for families with sick children. In 2016, more than 1,300 of our employees took part in our Day of Caring.

CodeDay: Creating the next generation of coders

Code Day at LexisNexis

CodeDay is a national event that brings high school and college students together for a 24 hour-period to pitch, and create and build Web applications and video games. CodeDay places a focus on having fun and allowing attendees with a love for technology to challenge their skills and meet other like-minded students. In 2016, nearly 6,000 students across 30 cities participated in CodeDay events. We are proud to support Student RND and the national CodeDay events.

What We Give

In addition to supporting the volunteer efforts of our employees, we also support them in their giving. LexisNexis’ Matching Gift Program helps employees double the impact of their financial contributions to charities and causes, up to $1,000. In 2011, we furthered our financial commitment to those who care, by offering Cash for Caring. This program provides an incentive for employees to volunteer 24 hours in a calendar year. Once the employee reaches 24 hours, Risk Solutions donates $500 to a qualified charitable organization of the employee’s choice.
