By submitting a question, reviewing the Q&A material or otherwise using the LexisAsk service, you accept and agree to the Terms and to comply with them. For the avoidance of doubt, if you do not accept these terms, you should not use the LexisAsk service.

Questions can be submitted through the LexisAsk pop-up window, available through the speech bubble in the bottom right corner of the LexisPSL screen, as well as through the “Contact Us” page. We will not accept questions submitted through any other routes.

LexisAsk is not designed to take the place of your own research or knowledge. We do not provide and are not providing legal advice. You are solely responsible for your use of, and/or any reliance on, the LexisAsk service, responses to questions or the content of other Lexis materials. You accept that your use of the LexisAsk service (including any reply from us) does not create or imply a lawyer-client relationship of any kind. You accept that we do not owe you any duty of care.

We will do our best to respond to questions submitted through the LexisAsk service in a reasonable time frame. However, we are under no obligation to respond to any question or to respond within any particular time frame.

LexisAsk is designed to provide you with bespoke assistance in accessing the most relevant materials on the Lexis®PSL service. We will not be able to respond to questions relating to specific disclosed scenarios or facts. Please ensure that you do not include any confidential, personal or other proprietary information in your submissions – we accept no liability for any claims or other issues arising from your failure to do this.

Responses will be sent to the email address nominated in the pop-up window. Unfortunately, we cannot enter into any correspondence in relation to a response. If you have a further question or seek further clarification, you are welcome to submit a further question through the LexisAsk service.

We may, at our discretion, publish your question (in an anonymised form) and our response as a Q&A document for other users to view, either in its original form or in a form edited by us. We may also remove any Q&A document at any time for any reason.

For the avoidance of doubt, we own all intellectual property and other rights in and to the LexisAsk service, including the Q&A documents and all submissions made to the LexisAsk service. You agree to assign any rights you may have in your submission and/or question to us.
