Transparency Orders have come about as a result of the reporting pilot in the family court. Following successful extensions of pilots, the scheme was extended to all courts allowing for open reporting provisions. The scheme covers both public and private law children law proceedings.

Rachel has advised and represented clients in divorce and financial remedy proceedings, and has experience of working with unmarried clients. Rachel frequently advises on agreements reached in the mediation process. Additionally, she advises, and represents in the Family Court, those clients who have been unable to reach an agreement about arrangements for children.

Rachel is based in the firms Bristol family law office and in her spare time contributes to the local legal community, through her role as Chair of the Bristol Junior Lawyers Division.
