CHICAGO - The National Labor Relations Board was correct in finding that a union violated the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) when it failed to consistently use objective criteria for referrals of union members, discriminatorily failed to refer a union member and failed to provide that union member with information regarding referral procedures, the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled July 23 (National Labor Relations Board v. Teamsters "General" Local Union No. 200, No. 12-1586, 7th Cir.; 2013 U.S. App. LEXIS).
