Judge Adopts Recommendation To Dismiss Counterclaim As Discovery Sanction

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A federal judge in Tennessee on Sept. 17 adopted a magistrate judge's ruling to dismiss a defendant's counterclaim as a sanction for his failure to respond to the plaintiff's request for discovery (Adib Akbari v. Renate Arnold, No. 12-0768, M.D. Tenn.; 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 132667).
