    American Citizen Sues Feds, Hospital for Invasive Body Cavity Searches at Border

    The facts are appalling : A slight, 54-year-old American woman was strip-searched, then subjected to repeated X-rays, rectal and vaginal probes by CBP and the University Medical Center in El Paso for six hours. Finding nothing, CBP released her without any apology . The hospital billed her $5,000 for 'services.' Needless to say, she is suing CBP and the hospital .
